Your Privacy is Important to Me

I highly value your trust and confidence, and I want to assure you that your personal information is kept completely confidential by me.  As a CPA and a CFP, I adhere to the highest level of professional ethical responsibility and obligation to protect the confidentiality of all client information.

This privacy policy summarizes for you what information I collect about you, the limited times I may share it with others, and how I protect your privacy.

What Personal Information Do I Collect?

In order to meet your needs in the course of tax return preparation and/or financial planning, I collect various types of personal information about you from the following source:

· Information that I receive from you when you meet with me in person or over the phone, when you send me information by mail or e-mail, through my website, or on other documents or forms that I use in preparing your tax return or financial plan.

o Such information includes, for instance, your name, address, social security number, income, investment and other assets, and other tax and financial attributes about you;

· Nonpublic personal information about you that is obtained by me from third parties with your authorization.

Is Personal Information Shared with Others?

I do not share any personal information about you to anyone without your express consent, except as permitted by law and as described below.

The law permits disclosure in certain instances, such as if we must share information to protect against fraud, in response to a court subpoena, to others who are assuring our compliance with professional standards (peer review, Division of Securities audit,) and the like.  I may also share any or all of the information I collect, as described above to nonaffiliated companies that perform support services on my behalf, such as the vendor providing me with my tax compliance software.

How Do I Protect the Confidentiality and Security of Your Personal Information?

Keeping your information confidential and secure is of utmost importance to me.   I retain records relating to professional services that I provide so that I am better able to assist you with your professional needs and, in some cases, to comply with professional guidelines.  In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, I maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with my professional standards.

What if you Become a Former Client?

Should you become an inactive client or should our relationship end, I will continue to protect the confidentiality and security of your personal information in accordance with this policy.  Please call if you have any questions, because your privacy, my professional ethics, and the ability to provide you with quality financial services are very important to me.
